I have heard rave reviews about this program. I installed it, but it wouldn't open....I get fleeting moments where I can make out "querying plug-ins". I don't know how to rectify that.

I just downloaded GimPhoto and GimPad --- but I can't find help files/tutorials for either. Where can I obtain these?

I have been using various releases of Gimp for several years. Recently downloaded Gimphoto and when I click on the Text Tool, I get an error message ( encountered a problem and has to shut down) Tried all the latest releases and get the same results.

Let's face it: GimPhoto is fabulous. It brings non-maddening graphics processing within the reach of the masses. It makes coffee unnecessary.

THANKS heaps for GIMPhoto, I much prefer it to the usual gui for gimpwin... now I wish you'd mod from source up.. and while I'm wishing I really HOPE there will be a GIMPhoto build on GIMP 2.7 stable!

all is well until I try to use Kai's Power Tools... not sure where to copy the executable and DLLs associated with the 8BF files :( but after clicking through some mighty vague errors most of the KPT plug-ins function

My download does not work: Gimpad loads but does not show the menu (Windows XP). GimPhoto only loads two tool windows. Installation instructions indicate I need to change the name of the folder, but am not sure to what?

I am very happy and all wishes for gimphoto.

OMG, Gimphoto is awesome FTW!!!

The smudge tool, especially, is much improved even over GIMP. It's one of my basic tools and I needed a very responsive, tablet-friendly smudge.
